About the Library

The Schuylerville Public Library is classified as a School District Library and is located in Saratoga County in upstate NY.

The Library is a member of the Southern Adirondack Library System (SALS) which serves Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties. SALS shares a computerized catalog system with the Mohawk Valley Library System (MVLS). You can also visit other SALS Libraries and MVLS Libraries on-line and with your library card.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Schuylerville Public Library is to assemble, preserve and provide materials that will meet the educational, informational, and cultural interests and needs of the community served by the Library. The Library will be a source of knowledge, inspiration and community to all patrons who seek the services it provides.
