Obtaining A Library Card

• Bring in some form of ID, such as a license, that has your current phone and home address
• IT’S FREE 

Borrowing Rules

• DVDs/VHS- 3 DVDs or VHS per patron for 1 week, with 3 renewals UNLESS they are new and popular, where there are no renewals.
• Books- All books can be borrowed for 4 weeks with up to 3 renewals
• Books on Tape/CD- Books on tape or CD can be borrowed for 4 weeks with up to 3 renewals
• Magazines- Magazines can be borrowed for 4 weeks with 3 renewals
• ALL MATERIALS CAN BE HELD FOR UP TO ONE WEEK FOR PICKUP

Internet Usage

• The internet is free for anyone to use
• Patrons up to the age of 16 need a signed parental persmission slip to use the internet if their parent or guardian is not with them
• Myspace is restricted, as are sites that contain explicit content

Donations

• The Schuylerville Public Library accepts donations that may either be added to our collection, sold in a book sale, or donated to a charity.

Snow Closings

• If there is severely inclement weather then we reserve the right to close the library
